Drivline Baseball Throwing Program

Driveline Baseball Throwing Program

Driveline is a progressive throwing program focused around a series of throwing drills designed to safely increase arm strength and throwing velocity. This program is suitable for any pitcher and position player aged 13 and up. This year, we are incorporating the latest version of the Driveline Program which includes new equipment and throwing sessions.

The Driveline Program offers several throwing programs:

Pitchers Velocity Development Focus- Designed to increase an athlete’s throwing fitness, throwing movement quality, and maximize the intent to throw as hard as possible.

Pitchers Blend to Season Focus- Designed to seamlessly transfer offseason training results to the mound and to also prepare to get hitters out.

Position Player Velocity Development Focus- Designed to increase an athlete’s throwing fitness, throwing movement quality, and maximize the intent to throw as hard as possible.

Our Program Options:

All programs start with the on-ramping series to prepare the arm for intense throwing. Each program lasts 10 weeks in length and athletes will be given an additional two weeks of throwing to complete once the high school season starts. This program requires athletes to perform the throwing for three days per week on their own while the fourth day is with us at our facility.

860Baseball and the Driveline equipment will be available for use, free of charge, to complete the three other throwing sessions per week. The facility is open every Wednesday and Thursday evenings from  6:00 - 8:00 and Friday evenings from 5:00 - 7:00 for these throwing sessions.

Our session dates will include all of the radar readings along with complete analysis of progress made and a comprehensive look into at-home throwing days to ensure proper safety and maximum results. Please note that there is a mandatory pre-workout assessment that all athletes need to attend. Dates and times for the assessment are as follows: Tuesday and Wednesday December 27 and 28th at 2:30pm, 3:15pm, and 4:00pm. Each assessment period is limited to four athletes and athletes need to attend just one session. All assessments will be held at 860 Baseball.
